TONY BYERLY

Global President, Securitas Technology
Securitas Global Electronic Security Business Center

Tony Byerly is Global President, Securitas Technology. Byerly joined Securitas in February 2016, when the company acquired Diebold’s Electronic Security business, which he led as Executive Vice President, Global Security. While at Diebold, Inc., Byerly successfully led the transformation of the industry’s third largest commercial electronic security business in orders and revenue growth, as well as profitability over consecutive years. In 2019, Byerly was appointed to Securitas Group Management and as the leader of Securitas’ Global Electronic Security Business Center focused on developing Securitas’ global electronic security strategy, expanding electronic security specialization and capabilities, and growing the business.

As CEO, he is responsible for leading, setting and executing the strategy for SES. His passion and focus is providing an unparalleled customer experience fueled by next generation security services and solutions, which has led to an unprecedented record of orders growth over consecutive prior year periods.

Byerly also served as president and chief operating officer for Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, a division of Stanley Black and Decker. He joined Stanley when Stanley acquired HSM in 2006 and led Stanley CSS as it transformed into the second largest electronic security services provider in North America. With over 30 years of security expertise and having an executive leadership track record in growing and transforming some of the largest and most successful private and public corporations in the security industry, he has become a highly recognized industry leader for his passion and commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. He is one of the few industry leaders with both domestic and global electronic security experience.

In April 2014, Byerly was inducted into the Security Sales & Integration (SSI) Hall of Fame for his distinguished service in the security industry. The publication recognized him as the industry’s definitive “builder of brands, businesses and teams,” calling him “one of the most accomplished and influential executives in the modern security industry.”

Byerly holds a bachelor’s degree in social science and business from Eureka College in Eureka, Ill., where he attended as a Ronald W. Reagan Scholar, formerly served on the Eureka College Board of Trustees and the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity National Foundation Board of Trustees.

KEVIN ENGELHARDT

President, Securitas Technology, North America

Kevin Engelhardt is the President of Securitas Technology, North America. Prior to President, Kevin served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Field Operations and Enterprise Solutions and was responsible for the company’s North America field operations, commercial enterprise sales and Canada sales.

Prior to Securitas, Engelhardt served as vice president, field operations, Diebold Incorporated. Kevin joined Diebold in 2004, when Diebold acquired Antarcom, a top tier regional systems integration company. He has 15 years of senior operations and financial management experience in the security industry. His intense focus on operational excellence continually drives outstanding performance and customer satisfaction throughout Securitas ES’s project implementation process, ensuring highly effective and compliant project delivery.

Engelhardt holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in business administration from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.

MICHAEL BEATTIE

Senior Vice President Information Technology and CIO

Michael Beattie is Senior Vice President Information Technology and Chief Information Officer for Securitas Technology. He is responsible for enterprise information technology long-term strategy and the applications and technology support for the business across all operations. He is also responsible for all technology services, operations and applications for SES employees.

Michael joined Knoll in 2014 as Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) headquartered in East Greenville, PA. In this role he was responsible for leading the technology strategy and overall IT operations across Knoll’s worldwide operations. Prior to joining Knoll, Mike was the CIO at Aramark Uniform Services headquartered in Burbank, CA, where he led the modernization of Aramark Uniform’s IT capabilities. Prior to joining Aramark, Mike was a member of the IT leadership team at Intel Corporation in Folsom, CA where he held several roles including Business Unit CIO and Director of IT Strategic Planning.

He has spent the last 15 years of his career managing IT organizations in companies of various sizes, from startups to multi-billion dollar corporations. He received his BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from the US Naval Academy and has advanced degrees in Nuclear Engineering and Business Administration.

NELSON BARRETO

Senior Vice President, Global Clients

Nelson Barreto is Senior Vice President, Global Clients for Securitas Technology. He leads the Global Clients Sales organization, focusing on large scale systems integration and enterprise cross border opportunities. Nelson works effectively across borders and Securitas business teams to deliver clients best-in-class technology and health solutions at scale in a range of markets.

Barreto’s knowledge and experience in technology along with his operational background has led to the successful deployment of many high profile projects. His focus is on developing long-term relationships through a trusted and transparent approach to ensure client satisfaction. Prior to Securitas, Barreto served as Director, Enterprise Sales for Diebold, Incorporated. Here, his sales team consistently grew the enterprise business. Nelson joined Diebold as part of the Antarcom Security acquisition in 2004. Barreto has 17 years of experience in the electronic security industry.

Barreto holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from Manhattan College in New York City.

FELIX GONZALES

Senior Vice President, Strategy & Business Development

Felix Gonzales is Senior Vice President, Strategy & Business Development for Securitas Technology. He is responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies and business development initiatives.

Prior to Securitas, Gonzales served as vice president, strategic initiatives and business development, electronic security for Diebold, Incorporated. Gonzales has over 25 years of security experience in senior strategy, business development and sales leadership roles for security companies Stanley Black & Decker, HSM and Honeywell. He is known for his expertise in innovative and transformational programs that enhance the customer experience, strengthen business partnerships and drive business growth.

Gonzales holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from San Diego State University in San Diego, California and a master’s degree in business administration from Saint Mary’s College Of California in Moraga, California.

DAMON KANZLER

Senior Vice President, Sourcing & Business Operations

Damon Kanzler is Senior Vice President, Centralized Services & Business Operations for Securitas Technology. He is responsible for the company’s event monitoring centers, in addition to leading centralized services and establishing standardized business processes.

Prior to Securitas, Damon served as vice president, centralized services & business processes for Diebold, Incorporated. Kanzler has over 20 years of security experience in senior operations, customer service and project management leadership roles with security companies Stanley Black & Decker, HSM and Honeywell. He has a strong track record of building teams and processes that deliver operational excellence, customer satisfaction and helping customers drive productivity while increasing efficiency.

Kanzler holds a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota.

ASHWIN KATARIA

Senior Vice President, Performance Excellence

Ashwin Kataria is Senior Vice President Performance Excellence for Securitas Technology. He is responsible for the financial management, planning and analysis, accounting and other financial services.

Prior to Securitas, Ashwin served as director, finance, electronic security for Diebold, Incorporated. Kataria joined Diebold in 2003, and has 10+ years of senior financial management experience in the security industry. With expertise in corporate development, finance and M&A, Kataria ensures the financial health of the company’s electronic security business and a solid base for continued success in business growth and development.

Kataria holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Karnataka University in India and a master’s degree in business administration from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.

ROBIN MARSHALL

Vice President, Accounting

Robin is the Vice President of Accounting for Securitas Technology. Prior to VP of Accounting, Robin served as Senior Director, Accounting since joining SES in March 2020. Robin is responsible for leading the Accounting and Financial Reporting teams as well as the Cash Application and Accounts Payable departments.

Prior to joining SES, Robin started her career in public accounting as an external auditor with Deloitte. She then moved into internal audit with Roadway, which was later acquired by FedEx. During her 26 year career there, she held various Accounting positions of increasing responsibility advancing to the position of Controller and Managing Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at FedEx Supply Chain.

Robin holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Akron and holds CMA, CPA and CGMA certifications.

ROB RAYMOND

Senior Vice President, Strategic Accounts

Rob Raymond is the Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts for Securitas Technology. Prior to SVP Strategic Accounts, Rob served as Senior Vice President, Financial Sales since joining SES in February 2016. He is responsible for leading the strategic and financial sales and account management teams.

Prior to Securitas, Rob served as vice president, financial sales, electronic security for Diebold, Incorporated. Raymond has over 20 years of security experience in senior financial sales and national accounts leadership roles with security companies ADT and Tyco. He is known as relationship driven, and is a highly regarded industry sales leader focused on developing tailored security solutions to meet the specific needs of customers, while forming long-term partnerships rooted in exemplary customer service and support.

Raymond holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey and a master’s degree in business administration from Rutgers Graduate School of Management, in Newark, New Jersey.

INA STARIS

Vice President, Legal, General Counsel & Secretary

Ina Staris is Vice President Legal & General Counsel for Securitas Technology. Staris is an attorney and business counselor with over 20 year of experience in the electronic security and fire services industry. She is an experienced corporate legal specialist, strategic business partner and has been a key advisor to several national and international companies on all aspects of general corporate, litigation, commercial, and compliance matters. In addition to her business law experience, Staris has advised, structured and negotiated several U.S. and international business mergers and acquisitions.

Staris is a graduate of UMASS Amherst and Boston College Law School. She is a member of both the New York State and Massachusetts bars as well as being admitted as “in-house counsel” in Florida.

PETE STRAKA

Vice President, Human Resources

Pete Straka is Vice President Human Resources for Securitas Technology. Straka has 20 years of human resources leadership experience in the electronic security industry. Throughout his career, Straka has led human resources teams and initiatives in all facets including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, collective bargaining/labor relations, organizational design and development and a variety of other areas. He has worked for several industry leading organizations including SecurityLink, ADT/Tyco, HSM and Stanley CSS.

Straka holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology and a master’s degree in labor and industrial relations from the University of Illinois.
